Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist

Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor's degree in related field as required by individual clients
• Valid ASCP or AMT certification required
• In licensure states, Laboratory Licensure in appropriate specialty for the department or location assignment as applicable to the state
• 1 year of experience as a CLS / MLS / Med Tech
• BLS certification
• ASCP certification as an MLS, CLS, or MT Medical Technologist required.
• Full license required. Associate-level license will not be accepted.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0700-1730.
• Position includes point of care testing.
• Willingness to perform clerical duties as assigned by nursing and the lab director in support of operations is required.
