Position Summary


We are seeking a dependable and organized Logistics Coordinator to support daily warehouse and shipping operations. This position is responsible for checking truck drivers in and out, maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating the movement of incoming and outgoing products, and assisting forklift operators with proper product placement throughout the warehouse.


The ideal candidate is organized, communicates well with drivers and warehouse employees, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Check truck drivers in and out of the facility and maintain accurate arrival and departure records.
• Verify shipping, receiving, and delivery documentation.
• Track incoming and outgoing inventory and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Communicate with truck drivers regarding dock assignments, loading, unloading, and facility procedures.
• Coordinate with forklift operators to determine where incoming inventory should be placed.
• Provide forklift drivers with accurate product and warehouse location information.
• Assist with organizing warehouse locations to ensure products are stored correctly.
• Monitor inventory movement and report discrepancies, shortages, or damaged products.
• Communicate with warehouse supervisors regarding deliveries, inventory issues, and workflow.
• Maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory paperwork.
• Enter inventory and shipment information into company systems as required.
• Help ensure loading docks and warehouse operations remain organized and efficient.
• Follow all company warehouse and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in logistics, shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, or inventory control preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Basic computer and data-entry skills.
• Ability to accurately maintain inventory and shipping records.
• Comfortable communicating with truck drivers, forklift operators, warehouse employees, and management.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Dependable and able to work with minimal supervision.

• Logistics or transportation coordination
• Microsoft Excel and basic computer systems
• Forklift/warehouse operations knowledge
