Exciting opportunity for dedicated Physical Therapists interested in supporting students’ academic and developmental success! This contract role begins August 3, 2026 and continues through May 28, 2027. Work on-site in an engaging and supportive educational environment, collaborating with other skilled professionals to provide both direct and indirect PT services to K-12 (including some Pre-K) students.

Full-time candidates (40 hours/week) are highly encouraged to apply, but this role is flexible—2 or 3 part-time Physical Therapists may be considered to collectively cover full-time hours. You’ll be part of an itinerant team, serving approximately 94 students district-wide, with caseloads shared among another PT and a PTA. Expect to visit 2 or 3 schools per day, ensuring comprehensive support to students across multiple campuses.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Florida Physical Therapist license
• Experience providing PT in a school setting is preferred, but strong new applicants will be considered
• Comfortable working itinerantly and independently
• Effective communication skills with students, staff, and families
• Ability to travel between assigned schools

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver PT services (both direct and consultative) to diverse student populations ages Pre-K through grade 12
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans as part of students’ IEP teams
• Monitor and document student progress; collaborate with educators and support staff
• Participate in district-mandated onboarding and complete required documentation
• Attend meetings as needed and maintain compliance with district processes
