Collaborative Therapies is seeking compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapists (PTs) to join our growing team of school-based clinicians. Position Summary

As a Physical Therapist, you will evaluate, assess, and treat students with physical, developmental, neuromuscular, orthopedic, and mobility-related needs that impact their educational participation. You'll collaborate closely with teachers, families, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized intervention plans that promote functional mobility, accessibility, and student independence within the educational setting.

This position offers the opportunity to work with students across a variety of grade levels and educational settings.

What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) related to physical therapy services.
• Provide evidence-based physical therapy services in individual and group settings.
• Assess student progress and modify intervention plans based on data and clinical outcomes.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations.
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, parents, and related service providers to support student success.
• Recommend adaptive equipment, positioning strategies, mobility devices, and environmental modifications that enhance student access and participation.
• Educate school personnel and families on strategies that promote student mobility, safety, and independence.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal requirements.
• Maintain compliance with all ethical, professional, and licensing standards.

Qualifications

Required

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or degree required for state licensure from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Current state Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, student-centered care.

Preferred

• Previous experience in a school-based setting.
• Experience working with students with a variety of developmental, orthopedic, neurological, and physical disabilities.
• Familiarity with IEP development and educational documentation.
