Electrical Engineer / Engineer in Training (EIT)
Join a collaborative MEP engineering team where you'll contribute to the design of electrical systems for a variety of commercial and institutional projects while working alongside experienced Professional Engineers. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build technical expertise, gain project experience, and advance your engineering career.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of electrical systems for commercial and institutional facilities.
- Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical documentation using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Perform electrical analyses, equipment selection, and code compliance reviews.
- Support project estimating, construction documentation, and field observations.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, consultants, and clients throughout all phases of project delivery.
- Assist with construction administration, including reviewing contractor work and preparing project documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or successful completion of the FE Exam (or actively pursuing certification).
- Approximately 3+ years of electrical engineering or MEP design experience preferred.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
