Description American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a Days shift 13-week assignment requiring 2+ years of Med/Surg experience and a MO or compact RN license. Details Acute care Med/Surg unit at a Level 3 trauma facility Patient population includes non-acute cardiac cases such as pacemakers, monitoring, and potassium level management Basic telemetry experience beneficial but not required Patient ratio of 1:6 Uses MEDITECH charting system and McKesson medication system Schedule consists of 3x12-hour shifts, 7a-7p, with some weekends required May float first to other Med/Surg units within scope of practice Requirements Active MO or compact RN license required Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required MEDITECH charting experience highly preferred BSN not required Additional Information Provide direct patient care on a busy Med/Surg unit with a mix of general and telemetry patients Royal blue scrubs required, not provided by facility Facility may cancel up to 1 shift per 4 weeks worked Housing may be limited due to peak tourism season through Labor Day These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates.
