Students complete a full academic day in approximately two hours using adaptive learning platforms. There are no traditional lectures or textbooks. Your role centers on what technology cannot replicate: guiding students from Pre-K through 8th grade in essential life competencies such as public speaking, sustained attention, and constructive feedback exchange. You will dedicate half of each day to facilitating structured, hands‑on workshops using established curricula and narrative techniques. The remaining time is spent in individual or small‑group sessions where you analyze student progress through Coachbot analytics, set expectations, and ensure they achieve 100% of weekly objectives. Mastery is validated through Test2Pass evaluations, not subjective participation metrics. During your first year, you will take ownership of a student cohort and internalize Alpha's operational framework: life skills facilitation, one‑on‑one motivation coaching, and mastery‑based evaluation. Once you consistently hold every student to full goal completion while maintaining satisfaction ratings above 90%, advancement to Lead Guide becomes available. In that capacity, you mentor fellow Guides while remaining actively engaged with students. What You Will Be Doing Facilitating hour‑long life skills workshops for Pre-K through 8th grade students, covering topics including public speaking, sustained focus, teamwork, and constructive feedback (activity‑driven and project‑oriented) Conducting daily individual and small‑group coaching sessions in which you assess each student's performance in adaptive learning platforms (via Coachbot analytics), establish objectives, and ensure they reach 100% of weekly benchmarks Overseeing and scoring Test2Pass evaluations to verify authentic mastery of life skills, beyond mere attendance or effort Tailoring your approach across diverse developmental stages, from Pre-K learners requiring dynamic, kinetic engagement to 8th graders needing candid dialogue and personal accountability Cultivating authentic connections with each student to establish the trust required for effective coaching through moments of resistance, distraction, or self‑doubt What You Won’t Be Doing Providing traditional lectures or direct academic instruction (core subject learning occurs through adaptive technology, independent of your involvement) Developing original lesson plans or curricula (Alpha supplies structured life skills frameworks; your role is to execute them with engagement and narrative skill) Handling parent communications or administrative duties (Campus Leads oversee those areas, allowing you to concentrate on student development) Evaluating homework assignments or preparing students for standardized tests (these elements are not part of the Alpha model) Operating independently (you collaborate within a campus team including Lead Guides, Campus Leads, and colleagues who exchange feedback and mutual accountability) Student Success Coach Key Responsibilities Guarantee that every student in your assigned cohort develops a genuine enthusiasm for learning, achieves mastery in critical life skills, and completes 100% of their academic objectives through adaptive learning technology.
