If you are a driven professional with a commitment to delivering meaningful results and fostering the growth of those around you, we invite you to explore this exciting opportunity with Flint Hills Resources.What You Will DoLead and develop a high-performing Variable Cost Margin and Yield Accounting team that provides support across two refineries, fostering a culture of talent development and Principle-Based ManagementDrive business partnership and value creation by ensuring Variable Cost Margin and Yield insights inform critical refining and planning decisions while maintaining an accurate financial waterfall that reflects true competitive positionsOwn the integrity of marginal analysis, ensuring consistent methodologies, adherence to variance thresholds, and serving as the primary escalation point for material issues or deviations.Champion work process transformation and continuous improvement by advancing a roadmap encompassing system integrations, automation, and scalable solutionsOversee delivery of management reporting deliverables, including weekly estimates, monthly lookbacks, quarterly board reporting, and annual business plansManage external reporting obligations, including quality assurance and submission of government reporting and benchmarking deliverablesWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)Previous leadership and/or direct supervisory experience3+ years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or a similar role Experience performing analysis and relaying insights and recommendations to business leadersExperience working within integrated finance and accounting systemsExperience using MS Office Suite (Access, Excel - spreadsheet creating/editing, pivot tables, data manipulation/analysis and formulas creation, etc.)This role is not eligible for visa sponsorshipWhat Will Put You AheadBachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or similar role Finance/Operations Accounting experience in a manufacturing organizationExperience using business analysis and data visualization tools (Access, Alteryx, Power BI, etc.)At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
