Together, we're improving health and improving lives.Labcorp is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join their Specimen Processing and Accessioning team in Calabasas, CA.Work Schedule: Friday - Tuesday; 10:00pm to 6:30am. Additional days and hours may be required depending on business needsJob ResponsibilitiesPrepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testingUnpack and route specimens to their respective staging areasAccurately identify and label specimensPack and ship specimens to proper testing facilitiesMeet department activity and production goalsProperly prepare and store excess specimen samplesData entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerResolve and document any problem specimensMinimum QualificationHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent requiredPreferred QualificationCurrent or prior Labcorp experience3 months or more of experience in a lab or specimen processing3 months or more of experience in a medical/clinical laboratory environment3 months or more of experience in the healthcare industry, such as a physician's office, clinic or hospital3 months or more of experience in an assembly or manufacturing production environmentAdditional Job StandardsComfortable handling biological specimensAbility to accurately identify specimensExperience working in a team environmentStrong data entry and organizational skillsHigh level of attention to detailProficient in MS OfficeAble to lift up to 40lbs.Able to pass a standardized color blindness test**Pay Range: $17.50 - $20.50 per hour. Plus shift differentialAll job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
