Pay: $24/hr on W2
Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Production Specialist to support the assembly, testing, kitting, and inventory activities involved in medical device manufacturing. The role will help reconfigure mobile devices into Personal Diabetes Managers (PDMs) and assemble Starter and Controller kits while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on assembly, labeling, testing, and packaging of medical device components.
• Reconfigure mobile devices into dedicated PDMs following approved procedures.
• Operate basic test fixtures and manufacturing equipment.
• Perform inventory transactions, cycle counts, and reconciliation.
• Assemble and inspect kits according to work instructions.
• Follow SOPs and applicable FDA, ISO 13485, and cGMP requirements.
• Identify and report quality or process issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant production area.
• Participate in Lean/Continuous Improvement activities and team problem-solving.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Manufacturing or regulated manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Comfortable performing repetitive, hands-on assembly tasks.
• Must be able to distinguish red, green, and blue colors on handheld devices.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to safely operate manual and electric pallet jacks.

This is a hands-on production role in a regulated medical device manufacturing environment.
