Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)

Position: Certified Occupational therapist Assistant (COTA)
Facility type: LTC/SNF
Location: Lanham, MD 20706 | Waldorf, MD 20602 | Bowie, MD 20716.
Contract: 14 weeks
Shift: Days (8am - 4:30pm)
Start: TBD

Responsibility:-

Assist in the development and implementation of patient treatment plans.
Conduct therapeutic activities according to the occupational therapist's guidance.
Monitor patient progress and report it to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
Instruct patients and families in following treatment plans and using therapeutic equipment.
Help patients improve their cognitive, physical, and emotional well-being.
Maintain accurate and timely records of patient progress and treatments.
Modify treatment plans to address patient needs in consultation with an Occupational Therapist.

Requirements:-

Must be certified as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant(COTA).
BLS (AHA).
Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant.
