Responsibilities

What You’ll Be Doing (Day-to-Day):

As our Customer Service Agent, you'll be the go-to person for our clients, making sure they feel valued, supported, and protected every step of the way.

Client Service

Handle inbound calls, emails, and text messages regarding insurance policies.

Assist clients with policy changes, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and reinstatements.

Process payments and answer billing questions.

Explain coverages, deductibles, claims processes, and policy details in a clear and professional manner.

Resolve client concerns with empathy, urgency, and exceptional customer service.

Maintain accurate client records and detailed notes in our agency management systems.

Sales Retention

Identify opportunities to cross-sell or recommend additional coverages such as Home, Auto, Flood, Renters, Umbrella, Boat, Motorcycle, RV, and other personal lines products.

Conduct coverage reviews to ensure clients have the protection that best fits their needs.

Generate referrals and help retain existing clients through outstanding service.

Turn everyday service conversations into opportunities to better protect our customers.

Agency Support

Support our sales team with follow-ups, documentation, underwriting requests, and client communication.

Review policies for accuracy and identify coverage gaps when appropriate.

Follow up on outstanding documents, signatures, payments, and underwriting requirements.

Communicate with insurance carriers to resolve policy and underwriting issues.

Stay current on carrier guidelines, agency procedures, and Florida insurance regulations.

Team Expectations

Work collaboratively with a high-performing, goal-oriented team in our Cape Coral office.

Stay organized, manage multiple priorities, and follow through on every client request.

Provide timely communication and excellent follow-up.

Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:



• Active Florida 220 license (required)
• Previous Allstate experience is strongly preferred
• Customer service background in insurance or call center setting
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Tech-savvy and comfortable working with agency management systems and CRM tools
• Dependable, organized, and able to thrive in a remote environment
• Positive, personable, and able to balance friendliness with professionalism
