This ICU nursing role supports a high-acuity patient population in a hospital setting. The RN will work within an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, safe patient care. Care delivery aligns with evidence-based practice and professional standards, with emphasis on patient and family-centered care and adherence to nursing practice guidelines and ethics.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, individualized nursing care for ICU patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.
- Monitor critical patient status using invasive lines, telemetry, ventilator support, and hemodynamic assessments; respond promptly to changes in condition.
- Administer medications and therapies, manage IV therapies, and operate/assist with advanced equipment as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other members of the care team to deliver evidence-based treatment.
- Communicate clearly with patients and families, provide education, and participate in discharge planning as appropriate.
- Uphold patient safety, quality standards, and professional practice guidelines, aligning with the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and the Code of Ethics.

Requirements
- Active Georgia Registered Nurse license
- ICU/critical care nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (3x12 schedule)
- Competence in critical care assessment, monitoring, and teamwork in a hospital ICU environment
- Knowledge of and commitment to professional standards and ethical nursing practice
