Executive Director, Clinical Development
Scorpion Therapeutics
Role:
Executive Director, Clinical Development, leading global neuropsychiatric and rare disease clinical programs at Acadia Pharmaceuticals.
Responsibilities:
- develop and execute clinical development plans
- oversee study design, data analysis, and reporting
- foster relationships with investigators and thought leaders
- support regulatory submissions
- provide scientific expertise to transition compounds from discovery to development and lifecycle management
- review business development opportunities
- ensure compliance with GxP, regulatory, and ethical standards
Requirements:
- MD or equivalent, with 10+ years in clinical practice, research, or pharma
- experience across multiple development phases
- established relationships in depression, mood disorders, or neurology
- leadership in cross-functional, geographically diverse teams
- excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- willingness to travel domestically and internationally
