Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position is open for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations with a focus on retail and mail order prescription processing. The role requires strong knowledge in pharmacy procedures, accuracy in handling prescription orders, and certification as a Pharmacy Technician.
Location: Saint Petersburg, FL
Job Type: Contract
Responsibilities:
- Accurately process and prepare prescription medications for retail and mail order customers
- Communicate effectively with pharmacists, patients, and healthcare providers
- Maintain pharmacy inventory and ensure proper labeling and storage of medications
- Assist with prescription data entry and verification
- Comply with legal, regulatory, and safety standards in pharmacy operations
Desired Experience/Qualifications:
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential required
- Experience in both retail and mail order pharmacy settings preferred
- Thorough understanding of pharmacy laws and protocols
- Proficient in prescription processing systems and pharmacy technology
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
