Job Description \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Black Rock Truck Group is Hiring Experienced Diesel Mechanics\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Up to $40/Hour in Yonkers, NY\n \n \n Diesel Mechanic Benefits:\n \n \n \n $30 - $40 per hour (based on experience) \n Paid overtime available \n Day shift schedule \n Monday through Friday \n No weekends \n Monthly performance incentives \n Uniforms provided \n $100 annual boot allowance \n Paid time off \n 401(k) with company benefits \n Medical, dental, and vision insurance \n Life insurance and short/long-term disability coverage \n Career advancement opportunities \n \n \n \n \n \n What You'll Be Doing:\n \n \n As a diesel mechanic with Black Rock Truck Group, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain medium and heavy-duty trucks while ensuring quality repairs and maximum uptime. \n \n \n \n \n Diesel Mechanic Responsibilities Include:\n \n \n \n Performing advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs \n Identifying mechanical and electrical issues, including CAN wiring problems \n Repairing diesel engines, transmissions, and related systems \n Using diagnostic tools to minimize downtime \n Completing repairs safely and efficiently while meeting OEM standards \n \n \n \n \n \n Diesel Mechanic Requirements:\n \n \n \n At least 5 years of verifiable diesel mechanic experience, preferred \n Medium and heavy-duty truck repair experience \n Knowledge of Freightliner, Detroit, and Cummins systems \n Proficiency in diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills \n Position requires candidates to provide a standard set of hand tools for maintenance/repair tasks \n \n \n \n \n \n \n About Black Rock Truck Group\n Black Rock Truck Group is a veteran-owned company and a leading commercial vehicle dealer serving Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, and New Jersey.
