Jack in the Box Assistant Manager: Store 3276 Corona, CA 92879 - $20.00 - $24.00 / hour - full time Job Description Responsible for managing restaurant operations, in conjunction with or in the absence of the Restaurant Manager. Uses discretion in daily management decisions with accountability for ensuring effective execution of the Service Profit Chain (SPC), and Brand Promise. Primary responsibilities are to provide excellent internal service, external service, and building restaurant sales and profit while ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Key Duties / Responsibilities Internal Service: recruit, select, train, develop, and evaluate restaurant employees; monitor staffing levels; ensure training systems are implemented; develop internal candidates for management; implement “My Promise to You” and the Service Profit Chain. External Service: manage daily activities to achieve excellence in restaurant operational performance; train employees and hold team accountable for guest service and food quality; maintain guest interaction and resolve concerns; maintain brand image and cleanliness. Higher Profits: partner with Restaurant Manager to analyze operational and financial performance; execute action plans to increase sales and profitability; monitor costs and adherence to budget and goals. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience: Minimum of 1 year as a Shift Leader or Assistant Manager in a customer service environment; or a minimum of 3 years as an Assistant Manager with some P&L responsibility. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: At least 18 years old; completed Assistant Manager training; ServSafe certified; proficient in English; excellent interpersonal, analysis, organization, and planning skills; self-starter; knowledge of personal computers; valid driver’s license and vehicle for business travel. Physical Requirements Stand and walk 85%-95% of shift; lift 10-65 lbs; move freely across restaurant; operate equipment and drive vehicle; use computer keyboard.
