Registered Nurse Supervisor (Part time- Night shift)

Join our team at Fairport Rehab & Nursing Center, a leading provider of healthcare services to area seniors!

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor to lead our evening shift nursing team. As a Registered Nurse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care, mentoring and coaching staff, and ensuring that our facility meets the highest standards of excellence.

About the Role:

• Lead and manage a team of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants

• Provide guidance and support to staff in delivering patient care, resolving conflicts, and addressing clinical concerns

• Conduct regular rounds to ensure that patient care is being delivered in accordance with our policies and procedures

• Collaborate with other departments, including Therapy and Physician Services, to ensure seamless care transitions

• Identify and address areas for improvement, implementing changes to enhance patient outcomes and staff satisfaction

• Maintain accurate and complete records of patient care, staff performance, and facility operations

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing coaching and feedback as needed

• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure effective delivery of patient care

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying and addressing gaps in care

• Attend and contribute to facility meetings, including interdisciplinary team meetings and staff development sessions
  *Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards

Requirements:

• Current New York State RN license

• Experience in a supervisory or leadership role

• BLS certification

• Compensation and Schedule:

  • Pay: $45.00per hour
  • Shift Differentials: +$1.50/hr for weekday B & C shifts and +10% more/hour for all weekend shifts
  • Available Shifts: Night (11:00 PM-7:00am)
  • Schedule Options: Part-Time (22.5 hours per week)
  • Weekend Availability: Required
