Apply via Dice today! Akkodis is seeking a Java Full Stack Developer for a Contract job with a client in Columbus, OH . Responsibilities include developing and maintaining end-to-end Java web applications and supporting containerization workflows using Docker or Podman within a Kubernetes environment. Rate Range: $49/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Java Full Stack Developer job responsibilities include: Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end Java-based web applications based on business requirements. Implement front-end features using JavaScript frameworks to ensure responsive and user-friendly interfaces. Build and manage containerized applications using Docker or Podman, and deploy them in Kubernetes environments. Collaborate in Agile teams, participating in sprint planning, code reviews, and daily stand-ups to ensure timely delivery. Troubleshoot and debug application issues across the full stack, ensuring high performance and reliability. Contribute to DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipeline integration and automation for seamless deployment and testing. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. 8-10 years of professional experience in full stack development using Java and JavaScript. Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker/Podman and Kubernetes.
