Credit Analyst

Credit AnalystThe Credit Analyst will be responsible for performing all credit and collections functions associated with high volume account portfolio in accordance with the Credit Department goals and objectives. Responsibilities of the Credit Analyst include, but are not limited to:Perform tasks related to credit assessment and overall accounts receivable managementAbility to evaluate basic credit inquiriesPrepare and submit account adjustments to cash applications teamGenerate account statements and provide billing backup as requestedIdentify billing or collection issues that require escalationRecommend credit limits for currently assigned accountsEnsure optimal cash flow by continued positive contact and relationship buildingAbility to identify account delinquency drivers and achieve resolutionOther duties and tasks as assigned by Credit ManagerQualifications of the Credit Analyst include, but are not limited to:Experience working in Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable or credit role preferredExperience with electronic billing software (ADP, Oildex, EDI) preferredBasic Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)Experience managing portfolio and basic understanding of account reconciliations preferredPossess solid collections experience and comfortable handling a high volume of credit inquiries preferredSkilled in authorizing credit decisions preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAdept in multi-tasking and prioritizing workloadAbility to work independently and/or as part of a teamAbility to meet deadlines and handle confidential informationProblem solving skills and detailed oriented to assist in identifying discrepanciesAdditional Information Working Conditions: Professional office environment Shift Time/Overtime : Monday-Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm; In office position Travel : None Education : High School Diploma required; bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business management preferredDXP offers a comprehensive benefits package for full-time regular employees, normally working a minimum of 30 hours per week, including: medical, dental, vision, flexible spending account, paid holidays, life and disability insurance, and additional supplemental benefits.
