Overview:
A hospital-based opportunity is available for an Anesthesiologist to provide coverage across both a hospital and ambulatory surgical center. This role includes a mix of supervised and independent anesthesia care in a collaborative, team-based environment.

Compensation:

$375/hr

Assignment Details:

Start: ASAP (upon credentialing)
Ongoing coverage needed

Schedule:

Flexible scheduling options:
7:00 AM 5:30 PM (5 days/week)
7:00 AM 3:00 PM
12-hour day or night shifts
One night of call per week required
Must be able to cover OB overnight

Practice Details:

Setting: Hospital and Ambulatory Surgery Center
Trauma Level: II
EMR: Epic
15 main ORs and 4 ASC rooms
Team includes anesthesiologists, CRNAs, scrub techs, RN circulators, and anesthesia techs
Option to supervise CRNAs or work independently

Patient Population:

Adult, geriatric, and ages 16+

Case Mix & Responsibilities:

Thoracic, vascular, and orthopedic cases
Supervision of up to 3 rooms or solo coverage
Preferred skills include:
Spinal anesthesia
Epidurals
Regional anesthesia
Obstetrical anesthesia
Local infiltration

Requirements:

Board Certified Anesthesiologist Required
Active New York License Required
BLS, ACLS, and PALS Required
COVID Vaccination Required
NPDB Self-Query (within 30 days) Required

Estimated timeframe: 2 4 weeks
