Job Summary:
The Maintenance Department is currently seeking an experienced Ride Electrician with a working knowledge of the following:
- Electrical code
- Electrical mathematics
- Solid state control devices
- PLC systems
This position falls under our agreement with the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, AFL-CIO, District Lodge No. 947 and would be subject to the terms of the contract.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must possess:
- 3-5 years experience troubleshooting electrical systems, electronic and PLC equipment
- Completion of an accredited trade school or four years of electrical experience with a strong maintenance background
- The ability to differentiate colors
- Solid reading and verbal/written communication skills, and ability to keep accurate written records
- The ability to handle multiple task/jobs
- Excellent people skills
- Solid computer skills various computer programs (Word, Excel)
- Demonstrable communication skills in English (reading, writing, and speaking), and ability to keep accurate written records
