Occupational Therapist (OT) - Inpatient Rehab Therapy/Rehabilitation

We are seeking an experienced occupational therapist to join our inpatient rehab team. The successful candidate will work Monday through Friday with one weekend day per month throughout the contract period. Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience working in an acute hospital setting. Preferred certifications include BLS, NBCOT, and state licensure. Additional certifications in Manual Therapy and Lymphedema are a plus. Experience with Cerner charting system is preferred. The OT will collaborate with a team of 19 professionals providing inpatient acute care rehabilitation. The caseload includes patients with various levels of acuity, from ICU to progressive care units, with diagnoses such as CABG and other cardiac procedures, stroke, TBI, joint replacements, fractures, respiratory illnesses, dementia, MS, Parkinson's disease, mobility issues, and more. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing and following the plan of care, providing ADL training, therapeutic exercises, and activities aimed at improving function. The therapist will also assess discharge disposition recommendations daily and document using Cerner. Scrub color is Royal Blue; black shoes are required.
