Device Shop Leader

Job Description

We’re seeking a hands-on Device Shop Leader to oversee warehouse, logistics, inventory, and repair operations for technical equipment used at events and permanent installations nationwide.

This role is ideal for someone who combines warehouse/logistics leadership with strong electrical, mechanical, and equipment-repair experience. You’ll lead technicians and manage daily operations while remaining hands-on with troubleshooting and repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day warehouse and repair-shop operations.
\n
• Supervise and support technicians and manage workflow and priorities.
\n
• Oversee shipping, receiving, inventory, equipment returns, and logistics.
\n
• Coordinate equipment maintenance, testing, refurbishment, and repairs.
\n
• Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues.
\n
• Perform hands-on repairs using hand tools, power tools, and soldering equipment.
\n
• Ensure equipment is tested and ready for deployment.
\n
• Maintain tools, spare parts, equipment, and other inventory.
\n
• Coordinate service calls and support permanent equipment installations.
\n
• Maintain SOPs and a safe, organized shop environment.
\n

Qualifications:

\n
• 3+ years of warehouse, logistics, distribution, inventory, production, or related operations experience.
\n
• Supervisory or team-lead experience preferred.
\n
• Electrical/electronics repair experience required.
\n
• Strong mechanical and technical troubleshooting skills.
\n
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and soldering equipment.
\n
• Strong shipping, receiving, inventory, and organizational skills.
\n
• Forklift experience preferred.
\n
• Ability to occasionally travel and support evening/weekend events.
