This role works closely with vendors, internal departments, and Accounting to maintain accurate purchase records, control costs, and support operational needs throughout the facility.Hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Monday - FridayKey QualificationsStrong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and data entryExcellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with vendors, internal departments, and finance teamsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracyExperience with purchasing, procurement, inventory control, or related functions preferredEssential Duties & ResponsibilitiesNegotiate favorable pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with vendorsTrack spending and compare quotes to identify cost-saving opportunitiesLog all orders into facility GL spreadsheets and monitor monthly budgets by cost centerFollow established approval processes when submitting requisition requestsCreate purchase orders within the CMMS system and ensure all information is entered accuratelyVerify receiving records against purchase orders to confirm items were received as orderedSubmit completed purchase order documentation to the Accounting DepartmentCoordinate with Accounting to resolve invoice discrepancies and missing documentationClose completed purchase orders once all items have been received and reconciledMaintain accurate purchasing records and documentationPerform additional purchasing and administrative duties as assignedPreferred ExperiencePurchasing, procurement, inventory management, or supply chain experienceExperience working with ERP, CMMS, or purchasing systemsKnowledge of budgeting, cost analysis, and vendor managementWhy Join Echo Lake Foods?Stable and growing food manufacturing companyCompetitive payComprehensive benefits packageOpportunities for growth and advancementTeam-oriented work environmentWe are an equal opportunity employer.
