\n Cytotechnologist (CT ASCP) job opportunity in Baltimore, MD area!
\n
This is a full time/permanent role with benefits.
What You’ll Do \n- \n
- \n
Examine and interpret gynecologic and non-gynecologic cytology specimens accurately and efficiently, following established laboratory procedures.
\n - \n
Issue final diagnoses for negative GYN cytology cases; submit all non-GYN results for pathologist review and final report release.
\n - \n
Verify specimen acceptability and patient identification throughout all processing stages.
\n - \n
Maintain quality control (QC) , proficiency testing, and CLIA/DHMH compliance documentation in a timely and organized manner.
\n - \n
Assist with fine needle aspiration (FNA)procedures—prepare and stain slides for evaluation.
\n - \n
Accurately input test requests and results into Cerner while maintaining confidentiality and data integrity.
\n - \n
Proactively expand your technical knowledge and participate in continuing education.
\n - \n
Communicate effectively and courteously with pathologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, contributing to a collaborative lab culture.
\n
\n What We’re Looking For \n

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Medical Technology, or related field.
\n - \n
Experience: 1–3 years of cytology or related clinical laboratory experience.
\n - \n
Certification: Cytologist (ASCP or equivalent).
\n
