The RN will provide patients with routine and emergency healthcare. The RN will conduct health assessments, make necessary referrals to providers, detoxification, dental, mental health professionals. You can review candidates with ED or MS or Corrections experience: IF they do not have corrections exp, they must have 1yr ED experience required for PASS (in lieu of corrections exp) IF they do not have ED or corrections exp but have MS only exp, Please SCREEN. Should have at least 2 years MS exp in very busy large facility (350 beds). The RN will provide patients with routine and emergency healthcare. The RN will conduct health assessments, make necessary referrals to providers, detoxification, dental, mental health professionals. The RN will be responsible for triaging and assessing new patients to the facility (labs, vitals, history and past diagnosis), conducting detox rounds per protocol, urgent care and sick calls in the pods. MOAB certification is required, if the traveler does not already have the MOAB certification, they will receive the 4 hour de escalation course during their first week. If they do not pass; their contract may be up for cancellation. The facility capacity is approximately 1950 inmates, the average daily population fluctuates, currently daily average population is 1750-1800. We have different areas, so it is hard to say how many patients are seen on average. Special Equipment : - #Tier2 Travel Compliance Compliance document deadline is two Friday s before starting (10 days prior to start). RTO : RTO Restrictions : Client prefers that travelers only request one holiday bundle max (holiday bundles include: Block 1: Thanksgiving the day after; Block 2: Christmas Eve Christmas Day 5 ; Block 3: NYE NYD ; however if the traveler requires more than this, RTO will be requested upon offer. No RTO can be requested during the first 7 days of the contract or on the last day of the contract. If traveler can cut their RTO down to just 7 days or less for all units (except for PCU, which is RTO 10 days or less), and there are no major holidays included, then AM can automatically approve RTO without asking the client and speed up the offer process. Please encourage clinician to cut RTO down to 7 days or less to speed up process if possible. Otherwise RTO will be requested upon offer. Marketing submissions : Facility will NOT accept marketing submissions, even if they are a return traveler and the unit manager reached out to them and asked them to return. Please pay attention to NOVA and only submit over once you see a need open up. * 100 mileage radius effective 3/10/2026 please redirect if clinician lives within 100 miles of facility this includes extensions Please ensure traveler has a (non-local) Driver s License uploaded to their file ASAP as this is a facility compliance requirement. If they do NOT have a valid DL, they must provide a written statement outlining their transportation plan to get to and from the hospital. Please note that personal transportation is required for travelers working at the Metropolitan Detention Center. Due to its location public transportation and ride-sharing are not available for that location License: will not accept provisional licenses For all Behavioral Health and related positions : if not yet MOAB certified, traveler will take in-person MOAB certification course as part of orientation during first week.
