Operating Room Registered Nurse

Schedule

12 hour varied shifts, 7a-7:30p (holidays/weekends)

Assignment Details

Guaranteed Hours: 36
Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements

• State Registered Nurse License required.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• American Heart Association ACLS certification required.
• Minimum of two years experience in operating room required.
• Cerner experience preferred.
• CNOR experience preferred.
• Strong comfortability with Orthopedics, general, and ENT.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor the physical status of the patient.
• Collect and record necessary data to plan and deliver patient care.
• Communicate effectively with patients about their care and needs.
• Identify necessary interventions based on surgical procedures and patient conditions.
• Maintain a sterile field and anticipate the need for equipment and supplies.
• Evaluate nursing interventions and reassess patient status to implement revised care plans.
