About the Role
This is a full-cycle, new business sales role with a solution-first approach. You'll bring NextRobot's kitchen automation solutions to independent restaurants and small restaurant groups in your territory. You won't just sell a machine. You'll understand how each kitchen runs, find where it's losing time, money, and consistency, and show the owner exactly how automation fixes it.
What You'll Do
- Market Expansion: Grow NextRobot's customer base in your territory by prospecting and winning independent restaurants and small restaurant groups through walk-ins, calls, referrals, community networks, and industry events.
- Full Sales Cycle: Independently drive every deal from lead generation and discovery through live demos, negotiation, and contract signing.
- Solution Consulting: Dig into each restaurant's pain points, such as labor shortages, rising costs, and inconsistent food quality, and recommend a tailored kitchen automation solution that fits its menu, staffing, and goals.
- Customer Success & Referrals: Partner with our Customer Success and technical teams to deliver a smooth rollout, then turn happy customers into repeat orders and referrals.
What We're Looking For
- Fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English (required)
- 1+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally selling to restaurants or small businesses (restaurant equipment, POS, food supply, or SaaS a plus)
- A consultative selling style: you listen first, understand the business, then recommend the right solution
- A self-starter who is comfortable with cold outreach, walk-ins, and handling objections
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, able to earn the trust of busy restaurant owners
