Your Role and Responsibilities As a Lead of the Proposals Team, you will manage the bid process and technical aspects of applications for Low Voltage Switchgear (LV SWG) across all markets. You’ll provide early-stage support in project sales cycles, resolve contractual issues, and negotiate sales of LV SWG. Formulate competitive bids, estimates, and quotations by selecting the best product mix and considering technical and commercial aspects. Ensure tenders are well documented in a timely manner with accurate costs. Lead and manage the planning and preparation of technical, financial, and project‑management components of bids, estimates, and quotations, including prices and trading conditions. Report bid status regularly using defined tools and analyze reasons for lost and won tenders. Identify potential risks in bids and contracts and take appropriate action. This role accepts remote candidates located in the U.S., with a preference for North Carolina and Florida. Team Dynamics You will join a dynamic, multicultural team and manage around 10+ colleagues across the United States and Mexico. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or equivalent (Master’s preferred). Immersed in and highly skilled with a global Proposals organization. 10+ years of experience in Proposals, Quotations, or related functions. Direct industry experience strongly preferred; prior experience with Low Voltage Switchgear highly sought. Change Management skills. Bi‑lingual in English and Spanish is a plus. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for ABB. Benefits Salary range $119,000 – $190,400 annually, with eligibility for a short‑term incentive plan/annual bonus.
