Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current licensure to practice Occupational Therapy in Virginia (or eligibility to obtain)
• Prior experience providing occupational therapy services in school settings preferred
• Knowledgeable about IEP processes and treatment planning for diverse student populations
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Ability to adapt to varying caseloads and educational environments

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine students’ functional levels and needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student goals
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support academic participation
• Deliver both direct and consultative OT services in accordance with IEPs
• Maintain accurate records and track student progress
• Provide recommendations for classroom modifications and assistive devices
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
