The ideal candidateis prepared to teach and assess middle school math students and develop curriculum, instruction, and assessment materials aligned with the course sequence. Strong mathematics backgroundpreferred. Position Responsibilities: The successful candidate will plan and teach middle school Mathematics and Data Science whileworking collaboratively with the middle school department chair and members of the Mathematics department and cluster teams to support student learning and growth. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree Valid Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Mathematics license at the appropriate grade level Strong communication and interpersonal skills Experience working with and/or teaching middle school students and an u nderstanding of the needs of students at this age Collaborative work ethic Training/experience in the use of data/ data science, and instructional technology Commitment to inclusive pedagogy Willingness tocontribute to student life beyond the classroom Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree Compensation and Benefits: Salary is determined by education and experience, ranging from Bachelor’s (Step 1) $63,217 to Doctorate (Step 13) $128,771 (This range is based on a 1.0 FTE), and prorated to start date.
