Buddy's Vets is a privately owned small animal practice with 2 locations in Green Bay Wisconsin. We have a location on the East side of Green Bay in the village of Bellevue, and a location on the West side of Green Bay. We just moved into two new buildings this summer and are looking for another veterinarian to help meet the demands of a growing practice. Job Description: The purpose of this position is to improve the quality of patient care by assisting veterinarians with patient care and treatment as well as equipment maintenance. The Technician assists veterinarians to the fullest possible extent, allowing them to achieve greater efficiency by relieving them of technical and administrative work. It is the Technician’s role to ensure that all animal handling on the medical side of the hospital is governed in as a fear free standard as possible at all times. Monitor hospitalized pets Maintain inventory Prepare prescriptions Perform routine, in-house lab work Educate clients regarding veterinary care and procedures Assist with surgical procedures Conducts patient assessments Anesthetizes patients Performs procedures and treatments Maintain a high standard of patient care Communicate clearly with the veterinarians, hospital personnel, and clients Monday-Thursday schedule Executive coaching Our practice currently provides care to dogs and cats Daily assistance from onsite management team Fear-free certification Why You’ll Love Working With Us: As a privately owned company, health and wellness is a top priority, and we strive to give all our employees a good work-life balance.
