NOW HIRING: EXPERIENCED COOK / PREP COOK
We’re looking for an experienced, hardworking Cook/Prep Cook to join our team at a Friend of a Farmer - Gramercy.
We need someone who can move quickly, stay organized, maintain consistent food quality, and work well under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.
What we’re looking for:
Previous professional kitchen experience required
Experience in a high-volume restaurant preferred
Strong prep and cooking skills
Able to follow recipes, portions, and food-safety standards
Fast, efficient, and organized
Reliable and punctual
Positive attitude and strong teamwork
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities include:
Daily food preparation and cooking
Maintaining a clean and organized workstation
Following recipes and portion standards
Keeping up with prep levels during busy service
Proper food storage and rotation
Supporting the kitchen team wherever needed
