Job Overview Mobile Associates, Store-in-Store, are integral to the Retail Team, bringing the T-Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations. They engage customers, demonstrate products, and build relationships through meaningful interactions in a high‑traffic environment. Job Responsibilities Proactively engage a broad range of customers in a highly‑traffic retail environment using digital tools to educate and showcase the value of T-Mobile solutions. Leverage digital self‑serve tools during customer interactions and onboarding, recommending wireless solutions and helping customers navigate the T‑Mobile app for self‑service. Complete training on in‑store experience, products, processes, and systems; review personal results, promotions, and updates to remain Customer Ready. Perform store operations including opening and closing procedures, key and asset management, and reporting lost keys or assets. Build rapport and trust with customers, proactively reaching out to potential buyers to drive sales activity; manage referrals, Be‑Back processes, and price overrides for specialty offers. Collaborate with nearby leadership and teams to support the customer experience from account set‑up to device support and account servicing. Education and Work Experience High School Diploma or GED (Required). At least 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience in a retail environment (Preferred). Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Coaching, Communication, Consultative Selling, Customer Communications, Customer Education, Customer Engagement, Customer Needs Identification, Customer Referrals, Customer Satisfaction Management, Customer Service. Leadership, Product Knowledge, Relationship Building, Sales, Sales Prospecting, Sales Techniques. At least 18 years old; legally authorized to work in the United States. Other Requirements No travel required. No DOT regulation, safety‑sensitive, or other travel restrictions. Compensation Hourly Base Pay: $18.00, plus $5.00 per hour training pay. Within the first 90 days, Mobile Associates receive on‑the‑job training and are eligible for hourly training pay. After training, promotion to Mobile Expert makes the associate eligible for an annualized incentive target of $18,000 per year. Incentives vary by performance and full‑time status. All employees are guaranteed at least $20/hour inclusive of base pay and incentives, and are eligible for an annual stock grant.
