Senior Estimator

Monadelphous is seeking a Senior Estimator to provide support and assistance for the compilation of tenders and proposals for our Maintenance and Industrial Services division. Benefits Perth based in our Victoria Park head office On the job mentoring and coaching Internal transfer and secondment opportunities within the business Permanent opportunity with yearly salary reviews Key Responsibilities Provide expert estimating advice to assist with compiling major tenders, proposals and expressions of interest on behalf of the division Developing execution methodologies and schedules Analysing qualitative and quantitative data for inclusion in tenders Review tenders and proposals for quality, risk, accuracy and completeness: responding quickly to correct problems Identify ambiguities, risks and key issues in tender documentation Qualifications Detailed understanding of brownfield projects and operations including but not limited to SMP construction projects, overland piping, dewatering and other NPI projects experience within mining construction On site construction/ installation experience is critical Well-developed communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach with the ability to foster interpersonal relationships across all levels A methodical approach, high attention to detail and take responsibility for the quality and accuracy of own work Ability to pull all aspects of the tender from hours, schedule, histogram, methodology and acquiring subcontractor quotations A strong understanding of trades and disciplines involved in site/project operations Skilled in leveraging site knowledge to support daily tasks, with a strong focus on innovation and continuous improvement Ability to develop construction schedules using Microsoft Project or Primavera A basic understanding of Contract Law to interpret tender documentation Basic experience engaging and managing subcontractors Equal Opportunity We celebrate our diversity and shared values and are committed to inclusion and equal opportunities for all.
