QA Specialist

QA SpecialistA growing technology company is seeking a full time QA Specialist to join its Williamsburg office. This role is responsible for testing software, reviewing new features and updates, identifying errors, and making sure everything works properly before it goes live.Prior QA or SQL experience is not required. The company will provide training, including an SQL course, and teach the right candidate the skills needed for the position.This is a great opportunity for someone who is naturally detail oriented, enjoys finding issues others may miss, and is interested in learning more about software and technology.Key Responsibilities:Test new software features and updates before releaseIdentify bugs, errors, and inconsistencies within the softwareClearly document issues and follow up until they are resolvedPerform detailed testing across different workflows and scenariosVerify that new updates and fixes are working correctlyWork closely with developers to communicate and resolve issuesTest software from a user perspective to identify potential problemsHelp maintain a high standard of software quality and reliabilityQualifications:No prior QA experience requiredNo prior SQL experience requiredExtremely detail oriented and thoroughTechnically minded and comfortable working with computersStrong problem solving skillsOrganized and able to follow issues through to resolutionComfortable learning new software and technologyPatient and persistent when testing different scenariosMust be comfortable working full time in officeLocation: Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NYType: Full time, In OfficeSalary: $50,000 to $65,000/year
