We’re seeking an empathetic and dedicated Mobile Crisis Coordinator to support individuals through and after crisis with compassion, respect, and care as part of our VA REACH team in Northern Virginia. …​This isn’t just a job — it’s a chance to play a vital role in addressing the growing mental health needs of our communities and making a real difference every day. $5,000 Sign-on and Retention Bonus for licensed / licensed-eligible new hires Your Role in Our Mission The REACH Mobile Crisis Coordinator (MCC) plays a vital role in bringing a calm, caring presence and connection to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) who are experiencing a behavioral health crisis. This response includes meeting the individual in an environment where they are comfortable to facilitate service engagement, stabilization, and resolution of the crisis when possible. Beyond crisis response, you’ll provide community stabilization sessions, build and maintain strong partnerships with local agencies, and coordinate admissions for our crisis homes. You’ll also be part of a rotating on-call schedule to ensure help is always within reach. This position requires community travel to: Arlington, Alexandria, Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William VA. (Candidates must reside or be willing to relocate to one of the mentioned locations). Why Join Us? Schedule Option: (3) 12 hour shifts 9a-9p and (1) 4 hour shift: Sunday - Wednesday We also offer a full benefits package for benefits-eligible positions. Competitive salary: $61,000 - $70,000 based on possible licensure and experience Sign-on & retention bonus is paid out at successful completion of 90 days, 6 months, and 1 year for full-time, new hires. What We’re Looking For Education: Master's degree in a license-eligible field (social work, counseling) Licensed or Licensed-Eligible as a LCSW, LPC, LMFT Skills: Crisis intervention, adaptability, problem-solving and decision making. 1 year’s experience with mental health populations and I/DD preferred Valid driver’s license, insurance and reliable transportation for work-related travel Proficiency with EHR systems, Microsoft Suite, and technically savvy.
