Visit our website to learn more about our remarkable company. We are looking for a full-time PET/CT Technologist to work 3 days a week! This position will rotate at VCU facilities in Tappahannock, VA, and South Hill, VA. We offer an excellent compensation package plus an annual profit-share bonus of 4%, cell phone stipend, clothing allowance and much more! Must be willing and flexible to travel occasionally to other sites within the region to provide back up support. Essential Duties Utilizes radiopharmaceuticals as well as oral and IV contrast agents to perform a variety of diagnostic PET, PET/CT and CT examinations. Providing quality patient care and comfort and ensuring patient safety during the procedure. Explaining medical procedures to patients and answering any questions they may have. Performing a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment. Working in collaboration with radiologists who depend on the technologist to ensure that an imaging test goes smoothly and that precise, detailed images are captured. This position may be required to travel up to 100% of the time. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education and/or Experience Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to multi-task while maintaining great patient care as well as superior quality of exams in a fast-paced environment. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication, analytical, critical thinking, organizational and time management skills. Must be a self-starter with the ability to work well independently. The ability to follow instructions in stressful environments. Superb bedside manner and the ability to work with a variety of personalities. PC proficiency to access job related internet websites, review on-line documentation and experience using Microsoft Office Suite products.
