Accountant, Staff

Job Title: Staff Accountant Department: Finance and Accounting

Reports To: CFO


Key Responsibilities

1. Meets monthly & annual cutoffs & prepares reconciliations

2. Assists with month-end journal entries

3. Analyzes GL account balances & transactions

4. Prepares company financial statements for review by CFO

5. Assists in year-end close

6. Assists in Audit preparation

7. Prepares and/or facilitates property tax returns and licenses

8. Maintains fixed asset records

9. Assists as needed in other duties

Skills Needed

Accounting Skills, Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Typing,

Mathematical Skills, Good verbal and written communication skills

Bilingual - English and Spanish

Minimum Educational Requirements

4-year college degree in Accounting

Experience Required

2 years experience preferred, but not required if skills and educational requirements are met.
