*Internal candidates must have been in their current role for at least 6 months and have no active CA's within the past 12 months.*

From your EXPERTISE to ours

What your day will look like :

As a part of our logistics operations team, you will be responsible for operating a forklift and other material handling equipment to support production & warehouse operations.

From your STORY to ours:

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:

· Hours : 2nd shift: 2:30pm to 10:40 pm

· Starting salary at $23.23 plus $.50 shift differential. Pay increases occur every 6 months based on employee meeting performance expectations

· Ability and willingness to work overtime, any shift, including days, nights, weekends and holidays

· Plant operation is 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

· Troubleshoot problems with automated robotic palletizers and partner with maintenance staff resolve issues.

· Transport raw materials & packaging to production areas.

· Load and unload trucks and containers, ensuring accurate placement of products in warehouse storage.

· Maintain accurate material movements & participate in inventory management.

· Assist in training new employees & actively participate in process improvement.

Education:

· Minimum of a high school diploma or GED

Experience

· 2 years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment is required

· All employees must go through a forklift certification course and are required to drive a forklift

Physical requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

• Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling and twisting over surfaces

• Ability to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platforms

• Ability to wear protective clothing and equipment such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, a hard hat, a hair/beard net and gloves when required

• Willing and able to adhere to all grooming requirements necessary for a food manufacturing environment

• Ability to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, wet environmental working conditions

• Willing to work around industrial high-speed moving machinery

• Ability to work with allergens that might be present in a food environment
