QA Technician I

Akkodis is seeking a QA Technician I for a Contract with a client in Burlington, MA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting quality engineering activities through inspections, testing, process monitoring, validation support, and documentation to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance .

Rate Range: $20/hour to $22/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


QA Technician I Job Responsibilities include:

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final product inspections to verify compliance with engineering specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Support quality validation and qualification activities, including equipment, process, product, and test method verification and validation.
• Monitor critical quality parameters, collect and analyze data, and document inspection, testing, and audit results to support continuous quality improvement.
• Conduct calibration, maintenance, and Gage R&R studies for test equipment and measurement systems to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Investigate and document non-conformances, assist with corrective actions, and support quality system compliance in accordance with FDA and ISO 13485 requirements.
• Create and maintain quality documentation, control plans, and inspection procedures while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing and new product development activities.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor's degree in quality Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related technical field.
• 2-4 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Quality, or Medical Device Quality environments.
• Hands-on experience with validations and qualifications, Gage R&R studies, calibration programs, inspection methodologies, non-conformance management, and quality system processes.
• Strong knowledge of FDA regulations, ISO 13485, quality management systems, blueprint reading, measurement equipment, data analysis, and documentation within regulated manufacturing environments.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
