Your role at San Jose: Be the energy and precision behind every package.

Essential functions and responsibilities:

• Varied tasks: You're versatile - pivoting across tasks as required.
• Kitchen support: Sometimes, you'll be the added hand in the kitchen.
• Safety first: Maintain cleanliness and safety. Be at home in varied temperature zones. Follow proper guidelines while working with ovens.
• English proficiency: Reading and writing.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• No prior experience or skills are required: however, a CA Food Handlers Certificate is a plus.
• Education: High School equivalent education.
• Language: You are able to read and write in English.

Physical nitty-gritties:

• Mobility: Move, walk, reach, stoop, bend, push, pull, talk or hear. You're always on the go and communicating with team members, supervisors and leads.
• Strength: Lift packages, occasionally, these can be up to 50 lbs. Be prepared to maneuver oven racks and HFBs upwards of 250 lbs safely and operate lift gates.
• Environment: Mostly warehouse settings with moderate noise level. Sometimes, you might feel the chill of the walk-in refrigerator/freezer or heat of the ovens.
• Specific vision abilities: requires close and distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
