Job Title: Recruiting Coordinator Intermediate

Location: Chicago, IL

Duration: Contract to hire, 6+ months

Pay Range: $22.00/hr - $24.50/hr (W2)

Job Description

We are seeking a Recruiting Coordinator (Intermediate) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in high-volume scheduling, virtual event facilitation, and candidate onboarding support and a proven ability to deliver timely interview logistics, ensure accurate pre-employment compliance, and provide a professional candidate experience .

Responsibilities:

• Assist recruiters, hiring managers, and candidates throughout the recruiting cycle.
• Schedule interviews and manage interview calendars and logistics.
• Facilitate Zoom sessions and manage breakout rooms for interview events.
• Facilitate offer letter creation and coordinate delivery.
• Support candidates through pre-employment screening and ensure completion of all steps.
• Complete and verify I-9 documentation in accordance with policy.
• Create invitations via the event management tool, track RSVPs, and maintain accurate records.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Hands-on Zoom experience with breakout room facilitation for multi-interviewer events.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and managing interview schedules.
• Clear, personable communication and confident virtual facilitation.
• 3-6 years of experience as a recruiting coordinator or in recruiting operations.

Preferred Skills:

• Campus recruiting or large-scale event coordination experience.
• Experience with event management tools and ATS/HRIS platforms.

Work Arrangement & Schedule

• Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. CT or 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. CT.
• Overtime: 5-10 hours may be required.
