Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an individual patient or assigned group of patients per established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Assess patient status, identify needs, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate outcomes.
- Administer medications, treatments, and monitor responses; manage IVs and monitoring equipment as appropriate.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; coordinate care with multidisciplinary team members.
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and team members; document care accurately and maintain patient safety and comfort.
- Triage and respond to emergent situations in a fast-paced ER setting; use clinical judgment and professional discretion at all times.

Requirements
- Current, unrestricted registered nurse license in Hawaii or eligibility for licensure in Hawaii
- ER nursing experience: minimum 1 year preferred
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program
- Ability to work a 36-hour weekly schedule, nights, in a hospital setting; willingness to travel for a temporary assignment
- Strong communication and critical-thinking skills; ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
