Work Environment This position is primarily remote, empowering mental health counselors to provide support and therapy from their preferred locations while maintaining regular contact with our multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities Develop individualized therapeutic strategies through comprehensive assessments and evaluations that address the unique needs and goals of each client. Deliver evidence-based therapies to individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy. Maintain thorough and accurate clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring confidentiality and the highest standard of care. Participate in regular supervision and team meetings to discuss client progress, treatment adjustments, and share insights with colleagues. Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, training, and research to stay abreast of the latest developments in mental health care. Patient Population / Client Focus Our counselors work with a diverse patient population, addressing a wide array of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship challenges. You will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through their mental health journeys, using tailored interventions to foster healing and growth. Your ability to connect with clients from various backgrounds will significantly enhance their overall mental wellness. Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in a relevant field is preferred. Possession of active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of New York. A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience is required, demonstrating proficiency in therapeutic practices. Preferred Experience Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma intervention, or substance misuse treatment is highly encouraged and preferred. Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and organization of client care. Compensation and Benefits The salary range for this position is competitive, with an annual salary between USD 80,000 and 100,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
