Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to understand the needs of each patient, utilizing standardized evaluation tools. Create and implement personalized treatment plans grounded in evidence-based modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused approaches. Lead psychoeducational and support group sessions that foster community engagement and provide therapeutic benefits to participants. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team members to ensure integrated care, including regular case reviews and consultation meetings. Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, employing immediate techniques to stabilize clients. Educate clients about their mental health conditions and available community resources, inspiring proactive engagement in their treatment plans. Maintain thorough and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and professional ethical standards. Stay current with advancements in mental health practices and contribute to ongoing professional development initiatives. Patient Population / Client Focus Our clinic services a diverse population, including individuals from varying cultural backgrounds and presenting with a spectrum of mental health concerns. Qualifications A bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field is required. A master’s degree is preferred. Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R within the state of New York is mandatory. Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders, therapeutic techniques, and treatment modalities. Ability to effectively conduct mental health assessments and develop actionable treatment plans based on clinical findings. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is highly advantageous. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. Strong adherence to ethical standards and professional boundaries. Preferred Experience Experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families with a focus on diverse populations. Previous involvement in community outreach or health education initiatives would be beneficial. Experience with crisis intervention and managing acute mental health issues. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually.
