Join Buff City Soap and become part of a team that creates fresh, handmade bath and body products from scratch every day. As a Soap Maker, you'll learn the art of soap making, blending vibrant colors, unique fragrances, and skin-loving ingredients into products our guests love. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that combines creativity, production, and guest service.

(Must be 18 years or older)

What You'll Do:

• Create handmade soaps and bath products from scratch using the cold process soap-making method while accurately following recipes and production procedures.
• Mix colors, fragrances, and ingredients to create high-quality products.
• Serve as both a Soap Maker and Makery Associate by engaging with guests, answering questions, and providing exceptional customer service.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of all products we make and sell to confidently educate guests and make product recommendations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work closely with a fun, energetic team in a fast-paced retail and production setting.

Important Safety & Physical Requirements:

• This is a labor-intensive position requiring standing, walking, lifting, and constant movement throughout the day.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. repetitively throughout a shift.
• Must be comfortable working around strong fragrances and scents.
• Cold process soap making involves working with lye (sodium hydroxide), a caustic chemical essential to soap production.
• Comprehensive training is provided, and all required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is supplied and must be worn during production activities.
