Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct a variety of routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, and immunology-in accordance with established protocols.
• Evaluate results for precision, troubleshoot inaccuracies, and oversee preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Support specimen collection and prepare samples for thorough testing as required.
• Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, train incoming staff or students, and uphold the lab's commitment to quality standards.
• Foster a secure, tidy workspace while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation mandates.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or related allied health field, with completion of ASCP/AMT certification prep.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is required within your first year of employment.
• Ongoing certification maintenance throughout your tenure.
