This role manages the full lifecycle of the specialty piping scope, from preconstruction through testing, certification, tool hookup, and turnover, ensuring systems are installed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with stringent purity and contamination-control requirements.Years of Experience10+ years of specialty or process piping construction management experience, including 5+ years on semiconductor fab or other high-purity projects. QualificationsStrong background managing specialty piping scope on semiconductor fab projects, including UHP gas, UPW, chemical distribution, PCW, process vacuum, and exhaust systems from sub-fab through tool hookup.Working knowledge of 316L EP stainless, double-contained, and high-purity plastic (PVDF, PFA, PP) piping systems, orbital welding and fusion joining methods, gas cabinets, and VMBs/VMPs.Familiarity with codes and standards such as ASME B31.3, ASME BPE, SEMI (S2, F‑series), NFPA 318, IFC, and IMC requirements for hazardous production materials (HPM).Experience managing high-purity testing and certification programs, including helium leak, particle, moisture, oxygen, and purity testing, weld inspection, and turnover documentation.Experience managing multiple specialty piping trade partners, subcontract scopes, change orders, and cost reporting on program-scale projects.Experience working in and around active cleanroom environments, including gowning, cleanroom protocols, and contamination control.Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point and Teams), and have a strong understanding of working within a computer network.Experience with project management software such as Prolog, Procore, E-Builder, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Primavera Project Planner (P6).Experience with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks.Training in design and construction document reading, design specifications, survey theory and techniques.Experience in organizing technical data in a neat and accurate method. Familiar with Construction Specifications Institutes (CSI) MasterFormat.Strong understanding of construction means and methods, sequencing, and field practices.Capable of organizing and analyzing technical data effectively and accurately.Ability to work well and maintain a cooperative attitude in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.Excellent time-management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work while frequently interrupted by phone calls and questions on work in progress.Excellent written and oral communication skills with an ability to develop strong interpersonal relationships.Ability to work closely with variety of trade and craft people in a field work situation. Key ResponsibilitiesLead preconstruction for specialty piping (UHP gas, UPW, process chemicals, PCW, process vacuum, and exhaust), including scope definition, constructability review, budgeting, and schedule development.Develop and maintain detailed schedules and lookahead plans for all specialty piping work, aligning manpower, materials, cleanroom access, tool install sequences, and shutdown or tie-in windows.Coordinate with design and engineering teams to review P&IDs, isometrics, BIM models, and tool hookup layouts, resolving RFIs and field clashes early.Oversee procurement and logistics for 316L EP stainless, double-contained, and high-purity plastic (PVDF, PFA, PP) piping, valves, fittings, gas cabinets, VMBs/VMPs, and prefabricated spools, working closely with vendors and internal procurement.Manage specialty piping trade partners and crews, clearly defining scopes, interfaces, and responsibilities for work in the sub-fab, fab, and central utility buildings.Ensure all specialty piping work complies with applicable codes and standards (e.g., ASME B31.3, ASME BPE, SEMI S2 and F‑series, NFPA 318, IFC/IMC HPM requirements) and owner-specific high-purity specifications.Plan and oversee testing and certification (pressure and helium leak, purge, particle, moisture, oxygen, and purity testing, weld inspection, and borescope and coupon programs), ensuring complete weld logs, weld maps, QA/QC records, and turnover packages.Monitor project performance, including cost, change orders, productivity, and key metrics, implementing corrective actions to protect budget and schedule.Coordinate specialty piping activities with other MEP, tool install, and critical equipment scopes to support tool hookup, hazardous material introduction, and commissioning milestones.Champion safety and contamination-control practices appropriate to active fab environments (cleanroom protocols, HPM and toxic gas safety, lockout/tagout) in partnership with site EHS teams.Provide regular status reports and risk/mitigation updates to internal leadership and clients, supporting readiness for commissioning and operations handover.Pay and Benefits$175,000-$210,000Fully covered Employee+Fam BCBS PPO health insuranceFully covered Employee+Fam Dental & Vision Insurance2 weeks PTO
